Greetings from the Volunteers in Mission Action Team,

     WOW!......What a fantastic year the Lord has given us.   Because of your generosity, the VIM action team was able to purchase the Triumph over Tribulations Tool Trailer (that you see below) and partially stock it with donated tools.   Monetary donations for the trailer exceeded $5,500 and gifts of tools totaled $1,500.   The trailer and tools will be used to repair and rebuild lives that have been disrupted by disaster as well as support VIM mission projects.    Thank you so very much.

     Although there is snow on the roof tops we are already planning for 2012 mission projects.  This past summer, volunteers assisted in rebuilding tornado-damaged Mapleton, Iowa but more hard work will be needed to heal that community.    We also anticipate a great need from our Christian brothers and sisters that have lost so much during the flooding of the Missouri river.  In addition, the VIM action team has received requests for assistance from churches that need repair.    

     The VIM action team is planning a 2012 Summer kickoff party that will be held in early June.    Please watch your mailbox for details.
